Catering Penang Dotcom went all out on serving an authentic Malaysian meal that lives in your mind always.

Hearty and Full of Savoury Buffet Line
During the discussion, the owner was clear on one thing – serving the best Malaysian feast for guests and staff. Beyond a regular buffet, it should feel like a street food scene in Penang. We couldn’t hear a better request. The buffet menu comprised Kampung Fried Rice, Ayam Masak Merah, Boiled Egg, Nasi Lemak Bungkus, and Curry Puff. Nasi Lemak in individual packs was more of a starter, served alongside the curry puff, before guests moved on to the meat and fried rice.

As you can see, the chicken pieces swim in a thick, savoury sauce. They are good on their own, but even better with a spoonful of fried rice, filled with anchovies. The mild spicy-savoury aroma greets you first, followed by the tender goodness of the meat. Nevertheless, everyone kept sufficient stomach space as the temptations from the actions stall were irresistible.
Embracing Penang Authenticity with Char Koay Teow, Ice Kacang and Satay Action Stalls

If you have already known about Catering Penang DotCom, you should have heard about our Char Koay Teow. From outdoor catering to sports club buffet catering, you see them almost in every catering event. Why? They are made on the spot under high heat with fish cakes and prawns. Our chefs are experienced in handling the hot wok, and the aroma coming off the station is an immediate appeal. Next comes Chicken Satay, where the marinated skewers are cooked over the charcoal fire.
And to wash it all down, Catering Penang Dotcom’s famous Ice Kacang. As per the video above, you can see that each bowl is generously filled with ingredients before ice shavings and syrups complete the dish. In short, guests of all ages would queue up for the icy dessert.
The menu is as follows:
Curry Puff
Nasi Lemak Bungkus
Kampung Fried Rice
Ayam Masak Merah
Boiled Egg
Orange Cordial
Action Stalls:
Char Koay Teow
Ice Kacang
Satay
Overall, the idea was to bring alive a street food scene within an office space. Feeding the 100 guests and workers was nothing but an exceptional experience. Everyone loved the food, particularly the setup of the action stalls.
